What We Believe

We confess the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In our preaching and teaching, we trust the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.

Our teaching of theology serves the proclamation and ministry of this faith. We do not have answers for all questions, not even religious questions. We use our theology to prepare us to be God’s hand in a world in need of the rich mercy of Jesus Christ and we trust God to be at work through us.

Every Sunday in worship we expect to hear God’s word from the Old and New Testaments, pray as Jesus taught, and come to the Lord’s Table to receive the mercies that God promises. Throughout the week, our members continue to live by faith, serving others freely and generously in all that they do because God’s promises permeate all of life.

RSS Verse of the Day

  • Romans 10:9-10 April 15, 2025
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
